I am at the border with one of my favorite families in Mexico – Don Elias Hernandez'. These guys are beyond solid and are a tremendous blessing to me, and have been through the years.
The closer I got the border, the more people wanted to caution me about coming here. I understand, and I appreciate their concerns. Tomorrow we travel what has been known to be a very dangerous road on our way to Monterrey. Please join me in prayer that the Lord will keep our way. But we don't need to be afraid…… Can't we remember the Lord's word that says, fear not, for I am with you?! The Lord indeed is with us, and we can be strong in this reality. Thank you Lord!oughout the five plus years I have known them. What an example they are living! They are doing a work that often goes overlooked before the eyes of man, caring for orphaned and endangered children, in one of the most dangerous places in the world. I know that the eyes of the Lord are upon them, and He is their protection and provision…. and for that, I give thanks.
This is the first time I have been to this location to visit Don Elias. Last time I visited him they were in the city. It is quieter, and safer here, as they
tell me. This
is not to mention it is much bigger. I am thankful for this location, and the blessing that it is to them.
If you want to know more about their ministry, please click on this link, which is of one of the main buildings on the property. You will be taken to an article that will tell you more….
And hey!, get your courage up, and don't forget to visit widows and orphans in their distress. How long has it been?
Blessings from the field.
