Graduating

It's been a while since I posted, so I wanted to give everyone a quick update. We are approaching several big transitions, and would really appreciate your prayer support.

The family and I are preparing for our relocation to the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. This is something I first started to sense in the fall of 2010, so it has been a long time in the making. Hopefully that means we are prepared. Continue reading “Graduating”

Dios y Sus promesas, ¿Cómo resistirse a Él?. Personal Rendezvous

David's life was different than those who went before him.  God wanted to start something new, a new season in time, and the introduction of that time was wrapped up in David's life, his destiny and calling in God.  In many ways, these things lead David into difficulty and peril, so it wasn't arranged with the priority of David's comfort and / or convenience in mind.  God's will for us can lead us into inconvenience, discomfort and also peril.  But that doesn't mean we should try to avoid His will, or that the costs introduced by His will should be avoided. Expect the Unexpected

Life will be brighter than noonday,

and darkness will become like morning. Job 11:17

This was a verse that a good friend of mine shared with me when I told her about my recent mission trip in Mexico with FXMissions. I told her how real I felt the Love of God, pour over me as I determined at the last moment to join the team on their trip into the interior of Mexico. They were visiting Esperanza Viva Youth Home in Matamoros to spend some time with the youth before leaving for their trip.

When God opens doors that He wants you to walk through you really can’t say no! There are times when you are not sure if it is God but this was definitely not one of them I could clearly hear the Holy Spirit speaking to me and inviting me to partner with Him …I couldn’t resist this invitation! How pleasant it is to walk in God’s perfect will! God and His promises, how can you resist Him? Continue reading “Expect the Unexpected”
