Kibera Slum, Nairobi, Kenya
We were here over the last few weeks, and in Kawangware slum also, as we went house to house praying for people and families. God loves…. and sometimes He helps us, even in our general coldness of heart, feel His love for others.
For this I am thankful. We saw some good things happen, we saw some unsettling conditions, and we saw many of the objects of God's affections, dressed up in poverty.
Help us Lord! We want to see what You see, feel what You feel, and do what You do with the things You see and feel.

The Establishment
Observe “The Establishment” (of human institutions) and the pressure it exerts toward compliance – it's suspicion and self-righteousness. To these things I must not react, as Jesus did not, but rather do everything I see my Father doing.
