Our significance, as Christians, does not come from the approval of men, but from the approval of God.
We will never be more committed to God than our understanding of His commitment to us.
We will never have more affection or passion for God than we understand He has for us.
As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world's interest in me has also died.
