2015, or what’s left of it… (Update)

Jambo / Saludos / Hello to the Brother/SisterHOOD!

Can we see now that we are 1/4 way in, what 2015 will look like?  Maybe now all we can tell is what it won't be? For me, it feels like I've been shot out of a cannon. The pace has heightened, tho, my ability to bear the pace is not at it's height of durability… but we soldier on.  Speaking of pace, I have been too busy to be very reflective of late, which has kept the pen silent, if you get my meaning.  In light of that, I wanted to pass a greeting and offer a general update. Special Prayer Request

On the left is my friend, Greg.  To his left is his friend, Diego.  They could use your prayers.

The short of it is that they are traveling into a real hot zone from a personal security standpoint to do some research about getting involved and being helpful with the refugee situation there.

Greg has three sons and a wife.  I appreciate all of their courage in this endeavor.

Please pray that Greg's time will be successful in finding the right connections to work with on the refugee situation he is seeking to get involved with.  Pray that Diego will get the right shots to help illustrate the situation, and make it real for others, and that his cameras work properly in the harsh environment.  Pray that the Lord will give them grace and help them to see the things He is trying to show them and to act in ways that He is directing.  And I'd appreciate it if you'd ask for special favor and protection for them.

They should be back from their travels around April 15.  Many thanks to you!

You know how one of the first things most people do when they consider traveling internationally is to check their passport? Well, apparently, I'm not most people…lil ol' me somehow overlooked the fact that my stamp of approval for leaving the country had expired two years earlier… until it hit me at 2 am two days before my flight…oops. Well, thankfully I have a really big, awesome God who likes to help me out when I overlook the obvious, and in the matter of 24 hours, I had myself a brand new, shiny passport (after spending a few extra hundred dollars and dragging my very splendid, accommodating parents to Philly at 5 am – thanks Mom and Dad!).
