Prayers Please

Our team of 8 is all en route, from 4 different locations. A couple different nations, in fact.

As you have opportunity pray for us. The headwind / resistance on the lead up was quite possibly the most severe I’ve ever faced. I know it was true for other team members as well. I know that there is something significant awaiting our obedience/ persistence. Please ask that this is accomplished.

If you sense something from the Lord pls pass it along to scott@fxmissions.com. I’ll pass it on to the team for encouragement.

We have some first time missionaries, one who has never flown (read – ouch on 14 hour first flight ever!!), and none have been to Africa except me. You guessed it. We will have some stories once this is done…

We should be sharing updates to Facebook.com/fxmissions every day or two. Pace with us thru the trip, and who knows, maybe you’ll want to consider being on the team on our next rotation?!?

Blessings and grace,

Scott

Africa2017 Upcoming

Please be in prayer with us as we travel to Kenya and South Africa late October / early November!

Please pray for:

  • travel, rest and getting over the trip as fast as possible
  • grace for all the team, especially those who are going for the first time
  • that we give and receive all the Lord intends during this time
  • that everyone (team, hosts and others) are enriched and blessed by the time, and left “better off”
We will see Mishael and participate with he and the congregations in a conference!
We will be with the Kirkpatricks and greet them by name (haha), and spend some time with those they are working with in Durban and surrounding areas of South Africa.

Really appreciate the prayer support.  Watch for our updates from the field!  #Kenya2017 #SouthAfrica2017

Reaching for Purpose

To say that I understand in any complete way what I am going to get into here would be an overreach. I don’t. Understanding comes little by little, but if we are paying attention, a picture begins to form that is recognizable before it becomes complete, and sometime well before. I think that is the part of the process, and is where I am with this idea. I am starting to see a little clarity come into view.

To start, a quick question: Why are we always starting over?
